A man and his wife had a quarrel and there was strife and offence between them and the Holy Spirit nudged the man to apologize to his wife but he refused and was being stubborn. As they were lying down the man couldn’t sleep and at about 2am, the Holy Spirit spoke to him and said, "look at what you have allowed into your house"....and in an open vision this man saw a large, fierce looking demon spirit wearing armor. The man could see each piece of armour and understood it’s symbolic meaning. The spirit wore helmet of pride and breastplate of unrighteousness,he carried a sword of bitterness and a shield of hatred, from his belt hung a hammer of judgement, a cloak of deception and his feet were shod with boots of anger. He quickly run and went to settle their issues and dealt with it.

Does this say something to us about harboring hatred, bitterness, Unforgiveness and revenge? Oh what legal access we have given the enemy by refusing to forgive hurts caused by friends, husband, wife, children, relatives, colleagues, bosses and loved ones.

It's serious, don't joke with this. No one begins with hatred or bitterness or resentment. And sometimes when we speak of hatred, bitterness, Unforgiveness and revenge, many think it's so far from them.

That's how it feels when you haven't fallen into this trap before. But every believer must know that if you have ever been offended before, then you're a sure candidate of hatred, bitterness, Unforgiveness and revenge. It all begins with offense.

Don't let any resentment cross into next year. The consequences can be very terrible. Choose to forgive, for it is divine.
